Incorrect Handling of AUX-to-I2C Tunnelled Accesses with MOT Set to 1 in DisplayPort Receiver - Incorrect Handling of AUX-to-I2C Tunnelled Accesses with MOT Set to 1 in DisplayPort Receiver
Description The DisplayPort IP core receiver closes tunnelled I2C transactions with a STOP condition even when MOT is set to 1 during the AUX transaction. This issue may cause the AUX-to-I2C tunnelling operation to fail when the DisplayPort source uses AUX I2C requests with MOT set to 1. Resolution To avoid this issue, access the tunnelled I2C from the DisplayPort source, with MOT always set to 0. This issue is fixed in version 14.1 of the DisplayPort IP core.
