Description Due to a problem, Quartus® Prime Pro Edition IP Cores generated by the v16.1 versions of software may report an incorrect IP Variant Type and incorrect release note link in the IP Upgrade table prior to running synthesis. Resolution To correct this issue, simply perform IP Upgrade on any affected IP Core variant. This problem has been fixed starting in software versions 17.0 and above.
