Why does my Intel Agilex® 7 Devices GPIO pin not output a low voltage if I assign '0' directly to the GPIO pin? - Why does my Intel Agilex® 7 Devices GPIO pin not output a low voltage if I assign '0' directly to the GPIO pin?
Description Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.2, if you assign '0' or '1' directly to an Intel Agilex® 7 Devices GPIO output pin will always output a '1' (high). However, connecting a register output to the Intel Agilex® 7 Devices GPIO output pin will work properly. Resolution The issue has been fixed in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and later.
