DisplayPort 15.0 Design Cannot Generate Executable and Linking Format File - DisplayPort 15.0 Design Cannot Generate Executable and Linking Format File Description The DisplayPort version 15.0 designs cannot generate Executable and Linking Format File ( .elf ) correctly. Without .elf , the DisplayPort IP core is unable to function as normal. This problem is caused by the missing main.c and tx_utils.c files from the Altera Complete Design Suite version 15.0. Resolution To work around this issue, use the main.c and tx_utils.c files from an earlier version of the Altera Complete Design Suite. This issue is fixed in version 15.0 Update 2 of the Altera Complete Design Suite.
