The problem only affects the Agilex™ 7 FPGA devices. This option is not valid and should not be shown as an option. Resolution To work around this problem, choose the Quad SPI Intrinsic ID PUF-wrapped or Quad SPI UDS Intrinsic ID PUF-wrapped instead of the Quad SPI Flash option. Go to Assignments -> Device -> Devices and Pin Options -> Security . Select Quad SPI Intrinsic ID PUF-wrapped or Quad SPI UDS Intrinsic ID PUF-wrapped as Encryption key storage location . The Quad SPI flash cannot be used as an Encryption key storage location for the Agilex™ 7 FPGA devices. This option will be removed from the Device and Pin Options GUI in a future version of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
