Why does the GTS Serial Lite IV FPGA IP fail Auto IP Upgrade in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2? - Why does the GTS Serial Lite IV FPGA IP fail Auto IP Upgrade in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2, you will observe that the GTS Serial Lite IV FPGA IP fails the Auto IP Upgrade. This is because the GUI_SELECT_TARGETED_DEVICE will be unable to find the default value, as the parameter has already changed from STRING to INTEGER due to the trademark logo problem fixes. Resolution To work around the above problem, you can perform the following steps: Open the affected GTS Serial Lite IV FPGA IP manually. Choose the intended value for the "Select board" parameter. Upgrade the IP by clicking "Generate HDL". This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3
