Platform Designer Standard Interfaces - 77 Minutes This training is a recommended pre-requisite for our Introduction to Platform Designer: Custom Components instructor-led training, but it can be viewed by anyone interested in learning about the standard interfaces supported in the tool. You'll learn about the different variants of the Avalon interface standard, including streaming, credit streaming, and memory-mapped. You'll also get an introduction to the Arm* AMBA AXI* standard. Example waveforms are presented along with summary lists of all the signal roles for each standard. Use the information presented in the creation of your own custom components for use in Platform Designer. Course Objectives At course completion, you will be able to: Understand the basics of the most common standard interfaces supported in Platform Designer for using off-the-shelf IP and for creating custom components Learn many of the signal roles that make up the standard interfaces Know where to go for more information about the supported standard interfaces Skills Required Basic knowledge of the Altera® Quartus® Prime software Knowledge of digital logic and embedded system design (optional) If the audio for the course does not start automatically, press pause and then play on the course player. The transcript of the course audio is available in the Notes or closed captioning (CC) feature of the player. If you need assistance with this course, please email fpgatraining@altera.com .
