Agilex 5 HPS UART0 - Agilex 5 HPS UART0
Good day, I would like to connect to UART0 of the HPS. The Pin Connection Guidelines shows the following possible pinouts: I do not have any of these group pins available. Will it be possible to connect to UART0 via other GPIOs? Kind regards, Nicole

Re: Agilex 5 HPS UART0
Hi, Please refer the Agilex-5 device schematic review sheet. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/content-details/826415/agilex-5-device-schematic-review-worksheet-d-series-and-e-series.html I think you can achieve all your requirement from the HPS IO's. But, instead of UART0 you can use the UART1 and it will not make difference in accessing. Also, you can route this UART0 to FPGA fabric as well. Regards Tiwari

Re: Agilex 5 HPS UART0
The easiest thing to do is to try it out in the Parameter Editor for the HPS in Platform Designer. The tool will let you know if the peripherals you want to use will be available based on the choices you make there.

No, those are the dedicated pin groups available for that peripheral. - 2024-11-27
