Why do I get a message box prompting me to turn on TalkBack when opening the ALTGX MegaWizard Plug-In, even though the TalkBack feature has already been enabled? - Why do I get a message box prompting me to turn on TalkBack when opening the ALTGX MegaWizard Plug-In, even though the TalkBack feature has already been enabled?
Description Due to a bug in the Quartus® II software versions 10.1 SP1 and earlier, the following message may appear unless all device families are installed when using Arria® II GX, Arria II GZ, Cyclone® IV GX, Stratix® IV or Stratix V devices: The alt2gxb/alt4gxb megafunction functionality requires that TalkBack be enabled. Go to Quartus' Tools/Options menu to enable TalkBack. Information on TalkBack is available by searching for "talkback" at http://www.altera.com . Alternatively, you may request a Stratix GX/Stratix II GX/Arria GX/Stratix IV feature license which is available through your local Altera representative. To work around this problem, uninstall and then reinstall the Quartus II software with all devices enabled. The ALTGX MegaWizard then functions correctly. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
