eCPRI Altera® FPGA IP: Customizing the IP - 16 Minutes Altera® FPGAs are finding many uses in the evolving 5G ecosystem. As the roll-out of 5G continues, designers require more and more flexibility in their fronthaul solutions. The Enhanced Common Public Radio (eCPRI) IP is a key IP used in those solutions. The eCPRI Altera® FPGA IP: Customizing the IP course is the third and final course in a series of courses introducing the IP and its development flow. In this course you will learn how to customize your implementation of the IP to your specific interface needs using the IP parameter editor tool. You will then learn how to generate a design example using those customizations to test the functionality and behavior or the IP in simulation and in hardware. Course Objectives At course completion, you will be able to: Customize the Enhanced Common Public Radio Interface (eCPRI) IP for your fronthaul application Generate an eCPRI IP design example to test IP operation Skills Required Familiarity with 3GPP specification and terminology, particularly for 5G Familiarity with eCPRI protocol and specification Familiarity with the Quartus® Prime Pro design flow Familiarity with Altera® device architecture If the audio for the course does not start automatically, press pause and then play on the course player. The transcript of the course audio is available in the Notes or closed captioning (CC) feature of the player. If you need assistance with this course, please email fpgatraining@altera.com .
