Why does the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software in Linux stop when compiling VHDL files that are encrypted with encrypt_1735? - Why does the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software in Linux stop when compiling VHDL files that are encrypted with encrypt_1735? Description Due to a problem with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software in Linux, VHDL files that are greater than 16383 (16K) in filesize and then encrypted with encrypt_1735 may cause compilation to unexpectedly stop at the Analysis & Synthesis stage. Resolution To work around this problem, files that are over 16K in filesize must be split into smaller files that are less than 16K before you start encryption. Alternatively, you can use Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software with Windows because it does not have this limitation. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
