Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software on Windows operating systems, Block Diagram Files ( .bdf ) may not fit a full schematic when printing on a single sheet of 11"x17" paper. Resolution To work around this problem, follow the directions below. In the Quartus II software, open the .bdf . On the File menu, click Page Setup . Change the Size to 11x17. Edit the orientation and margins as needed. Close the .bdf . Reopen the .bdf . On the File menu, click Print... To print as an XML Paper Specification ( .xps ) format, choose Microsoft XPS Dcoument Writer in the list of printers. You can also print as a PDF if you have the option. Open the .xps in XPS Viewer or the PDF in Adobe Reader. Print to your printer. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
