Description Some antivirus software such as Norton 360 may incorrectly flag vish.exe in the ModelSim-Altera Edition software version 10.4b and later as an infected virus file. If you are using Norton 360, it incorrectly flags vish.exe as a virus. This happens during use of the ModelSim-Altera Edition simulator rather than during installation. Resolution To work around this problem, add vish.exe to the antivirus exclusion list. Vish.exe is located in the /win32aloem directory.
