Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version, you may see the Design Space Explorer II options for remote compile and exploration are greyed out. This problem occurs when the tool tries to write to a read only location. Resolution To work around this problem, set the following environment variable to prevent the tool from writing to this location.
