This IP core does not support the Arria 10 device family. Resolution To avoid this issue, you must remove the 40-100GbE IP core from your design before upgrading to the 13.1 Arria 10 Edition of the Quartus II software. This issue will be fixed in a future version of the 40- and 100-Gbps Ethernet MAC and PHY MegaCore function or in a related future MegaCore function.
