Why are PRBS and RX serial loopback in Transceiver Toolkit (TTK) not functional when enabling ADME in the Low Latency 40-100GbE IP cores? - Why are PRBS and RX serial loopback in Transceiver Toolkit (TTK) not functional when enabling ADME in the Low Latency 40-100GbE IP cores?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software, the PRBS and rx_serial_loopback functions in the Transceiver ToolKit (TTK) are not functional. This is due to the ADME block not including the PRBS and Control & Status registers, causing PRBS and rx_serial_loopback to be non-functional in the TTK. Only the Transceiver PMA settings in TTK are functional. Resolution This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus Prime software, by including the PRBS and Control & Status registers as part of the ADME.
