Why am I seeing optimized simulation failures for the F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) enabled designs? - Why am I seeing optimized simulation failures for the F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) enabled designs? Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1.1, you may see some of the optimized simulations fail, which use Default Simulation Models* for the F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) enabled designs. This problem happens if the KR CPU is restarted while Auto-Negotiation (AN) is in progress, which would cause AN to fail. Resolution It is recommended not to restart the KR CPU while AN is in progress. This problem is not seen for regular simulation or Fast Simulation models. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software. *Note - Refer to Fast simulation model and Default Simulation model KDBs for more details. How do I use the Fast Simulation Models to improve the simulation time in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.1 onwards? How do I revert from Fast Simulation Models to the Default Simulation Models in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.1.1 onwards?
