DisplayPort IP Core Does Not Transmit Audio Related Packets When Video is Absent - DisplayPort IP Core Does Not Transmit Audio Related Packets When Video is Absent
Description The DisplayPort standard supports the transmission of audio stream even when there is no video stream being transmitted over the link. When video is absent, a source device must transmit an Audio Stream packet after each BS symbol set. In addition, a source device must insert an Audio Timestamp packet and Audio InfoFrame packet once after every 512th BS symbol set. However, when you use DisplayPort TX core to support audio, the core does not send any audio packets when there is no video Resolution There is no workaround for this issue. This issue is fixed in version 16.0 of the DisplayPort IP core.
