Description Due to a bug first seen in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 you will be unable to select "Use configuration device" when "Active Serial x4" mode is selected in the "Device and Pin Options" menu to have the Quartus II software generate a programming file for use with your EPCQ configuration device. Resolution The work-around is to use the Convert Programming Files utility (under the File Menu) to convert your .sof file into a .pof file for use with an EPCQ configuration device. This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
