Old project: Quartus II Version 6.0 - MAX7000AE device - Old project: Quartus II Version 6.0 - MAX7000AE device Dear Members and Supporters, many years ago, I used Quartus II Version 6.0 to develop for and program an EPM7128 device. Meanwhile the HDD of my old development PC crashed, so that the PC and licenced Quartus II is not longer available. Now, I have to make some little changes at the old project, so I downloaded the free Web Version of Quartus II. When opening the old project, Quartus says, that the device MAX7000AE is not installed and that I have to download the qdz-file of the device and install it with the device installer tool. Then, when I try to get the qdz-file with the displayed link of the installer tool, that leads me to an intel-page, there are no devices or qdz-files listed or shown. All in all: Problems that I can't resolve on my own anymore. So please, what should I do, that I can open, change and compile the old project file, so that I finally can program the device again? Kind regards rom Replies: Re: Old project: Quartus II Version 6.0 - MAX7000AE device I’m glad that your question has been addressed, I now transition this thread to community support. Replies: Re: Old project: Quartus II Version 6.0 - MAX7000AE device You probably downloaded the latest version of Quartus, right? It does not support the MAX7K family. You need to download the 13.0sp1 version of Quartus: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-kit/711791/intel-quartus-ii-web-edition-design-software-version-13-0sp1-for-windows.html It fully supports the MAX7K family and the MAX7128AE devices. - 2024-07-26
