Error (221008): Invalid format found on line 1 - Error (221008): Invalid format found on line 1 Description This error may be seen in the Quartus® II software PowerPlay Power Analysis tools version 10.0 and later when a Signal Activity File (.saf) generated by Mentor Graphics® Modelsim® or Questasim® tool is specified as a Power Input File for initializing toggle rates during power analysis. The Quartus II PowerPlay Power Analyser only supports the folowing input file formats for Signal Activity Data: Value change dump (.vcd) files Signal Activity Files (.saf) created by the Quartus II Simulator*. * The Quartus II Simulator is no longer supported and is not present in the Quartus II software version 10.1 or later. This problem scheduled to be resolved in a future version of the Quartus II software. Resolution To workaround this issue a .vcd format signal activity file should be generated, and used with the Quartus II PowerPlay Power Analyser.
