Description You may encounter the Intel® FPGA S10 Chip ID IP core intermittently failing where the output chip_id[63..0] will return all zero in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 (including Update 1 and Update 2). Once failed, the Stratix® 10 device must be power cycled to recover reading the unique chip ID value. Resolution This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0.
