Why can’t four DDR4 x72 DIMM interfaces be implemented in the Intel® Stratix® 10 MX FPGAs? - Why can’t four DDR4 x72 DIMM interfaces be implemented in the Intel® Stratix® 10 MX FPGAs? Description Due to a problem with the EMIF Device Selector, it incorrectly shows that the Intel® Stratix® 10 1SM210 and the 1SM165 FPGA devices can be used to place four DDR4 x72 DIMM interfaces. However, you may see fitter errors during compilation in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software because these Intel Stratix 10 MX devices don’t have full 48 GPIO pins in some I/O banks. Resolution The EMIF Device Selector will be fixed in a future version.
