How do I compile all available device simulation libraries when executing the command quartus_sh --simlib_comp in the Quartus II Web Edition software? - How do I compile all available device simulation libraries when executing the command quartus_sh --simlib_comp in the Quartus II Web Edition software?
Description The command-line version of the Quartus® II EDA Simulation Library Compiler, quartus_sh --simlib_comp , provided with the Quartus II Web Edition software does not support the option -family all to compile EDA simulation libraries for all supported device families. You can use the option -family all only with the Quartus II Subscription edition. Resolution To work around this issue, use one of the following steps: Use the EDA Simulation Library Compiler GUI to manually select the device families you wish to use and that are supported by the Quartus II Web Edition software. Run the EDA Simulation Library Compiler from the command line for each device family you wish to target, using the -family argument to specify the device family. Upgrade to the Quartus II Subscription Edition software. This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II Software.
