When writing the fabric configuration data (.pof) to the Configuration via Protocol (CvP) data register, is it necessary to read the CVP_CONFIG_ERROR register after every 32-bit fabric write? - When writing the fabric configuration data (.pof) to the Configuration via Protocol (CvP) data register, is it necessary to read the CVP_CONFIG_ERROR register after every 32-bit fabric write?
Description To speed up CvP .pof load times, it is not necessary to read the CVP_CONFIG_ERROR register after every 32-bit fabric write of configuration data (.pof) to the CvP data register. In theory the whole .pof file could be written, and only a single read of the CVP_CONFIG_ERROR register need be made at the end of fabric configuration to confirm that the transfer was ok.
