Performance Advantages on OpenCores with Agilex™ 7 FPGAs - This white paper presents a methodology for benchmarking the core performance of Altera’s Agilex™ 7 FPGA and SoC family versus AMD Xilinx Versal and Virtex Ultrascale+ devices across eight publicly available OpenCores designs. The performance benchmark results show that Agilex 7 FPGAs deliver: - 17% - 27% faster core performance (note 1) against Versal devices - 13% - 25% faster core performance (note 1) against Virtex Ultrascale+ devices - Stable performance across high utilization compared with competing FPGAs.
