To simulate PLL behavior, the resolution must be set to picoseconds (ps). By default, the resolution is set to nanoseconds (ns). To change the resolution, perform one of the following steps: Change the default resolution setting by changing the resolution to ps in the modelsim.ini file Change the run-time resolution setting by adding the option -t 1ps to your vsim command at the command line or in your .do file.
