Agilex™ 5 and Agilex 3 GTS Transceiver Basics - 30 Minutes The Agilex™ 5 and Agilex™ 3 FPGA GTS transceiver is optimized for a wide range of applications in markets such as broadcasting, industrial, medical and communications, to name a few. This course will introduce you to the GTS transceivers and the building blocks that make up them. You will also learn about the GTS transceiver IP you must use to incorporate the transceivers into your FPGA design. The course focuses on the IP you will need when using the transceivers along with your own custom protocol or interface IP. By the end, you will have a good foundational understanding of designing with the GTS transceivers to give you a head start in developing your own application. Course objective: At course completion you will be able to, Describe the fundamentals of GTS transceiver architecture Implement a design using GTS transceiver IP Avoid compilation issues by understanding GTS transceiver channel placement rules Compare the GTS transceivers to the transceivers in older Altera® FPGAs Skills required: Basic knowledge of FPGA architecture Basic knowledge of transceivers Working knowledge of Quartus® Prime software If the audio for the course does not start automatically, press pause and then play on the course player.
