Should I enter Imax or IDynamic Currents into the PDN Tool? - Should I enter Imax or IDynamic Currents into the PDN Tool?
Description The Intel® FPGA PDN Tool advises you to enter Imax for the current to decouple. In PDN Tool terms, this figure is the maximum dynamic current. When using the PDN Tool for your design, you should enter IDynamic from the Early Power Estimator Tool (EPE) into the Imax field of the PDN Tool. You can add 30% to your IDynamic figure for an additional design margin. Resolution Imax will be relabelled to IDynamic in a future version for the PDN Tool.
