Description Depending on the device family the JTAG IDCODEs (JTAG ID) can be the same. If there are any differences in the JTAG IDCODE it will be stated in the device family handbook or the device family Errata sheets . Resolution Although the JTAG IDCODEs may be the same for ES and production devices, the configuration / programming files are not compatible. Designs that originally target ES devices must be recompiled to target production devices.
