Description An issue has been identified where Qsys IP generation will not check for the existance for a plain text (source) license for Nios® II in the Quartus® II software versions 12.0sp2 and earlier. SOPC Builder is unaffected by this issue. Resolution This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of Qsys.
