The error occurs because the Quartus II software does not support packing composite RAM slices for Arria 10 devices. Resolution To work around this problem, perform one of the following actions: Use Quartus II Integrated Synthesis. Ensure that each RAM in your design uses a complete supported physical mode, for example 1024x20. Put each RAM in your design into a seperate LogicLock™ region. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
