Why are multiple IOSS CALBUS messages printed to stdout instead of being redirected to a file during External Memory Interfaces Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA IP simulation? - Why are multiple IOSS CALBUS messages printed to stdout instead of being redirected to a file during External Memory Interfaces Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA IP simulation?
Description Due to a problem with a new External Memory Interfaces Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA IP simulation model introduced in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1, IOSS CALBUS messages are not redirected to a file (like in previous versions of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software). Therefore, you will see multiple IOSS CALBUS messages being printed to stdout . Resolution To work around this problem, you can revert to an older simulation model by setting the ed_sim.emif_cal.emif_cal.emif_cal.arch_inst.io_ssm.iossm_use_model parameter to 0 (as described in the External Memory Interfaces Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA IP User Guide ). This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2.
