Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 14.1, the Scalar Product Function in the ALTERA_FP_FUNCTION IP does not map to Arria® 10 hard floating-point blocks. Resolution To work around this problem, replace this file: <Quartus II installation directory> /ip/altera/dsp/altera_fp_functions/source/altera_fp_hw.tcl with this file, altera_fp_hw.tcl This problem is fixed beginning with version 14.1 Update 1 of the Quartus II software.
