This is due to a missing command in the sdc file. Resolution For a workaround for this problem, follow the steps below: Create a file “ workaround.sdc ” in your project directory Add the below line to the “ workaround.sdc ” file: “ package require cmdline ” Open your .qsf file and include this file before any other .sdc file: “ set_global_assignment -name SDC_FILE workaround.sdc ” You should be able to recompile your design now without the “ cmdline::getoptions “ error.
