I think only the original TG is compatible with A10 so trying to enable that option to try to use TG2 instead would cause the issue. It's seem that the "Create Traffic Generator Connection" only works with Traffic Generator 2.0. Try to avoid clicking on that because it's might cause the Tools to hang.
