Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 14.0 and earlier, you may experience triggering problems. This occurs when connecting the trigger_out port of one SignalTap™ II instance to the trigger_in port of another SignalTap II instance when one or both of the instances have been renamed. Resolution To avoid this problem, recreate the SignalTap II file ( .stp ) and do not rename the instances. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
