Description In the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2 and earlier, you might see that the Block-Floating Point data type is not available in the Unified > FFT Intel® FPGA IP (intel_FPGA_unified_fft). This is because the IP does not include compatibility for that data representation. Resolution In order to be able to select Block-Floating Point, create an instance of the FFT FPGA IP (altera_fft_ii). This IP can be located on the IP Catalog under DSP > Transforms.
