The internal oscillator IP component does not work for MAX 10 devices - The internal oscillator IP component does not work for MAX 10 devices Description In the Quartus® II software release version 14.0 update 2, there is a Qsys bug in the internal oscillator IP component ( ip/altera_int_osc/altera_int_osc_hw.tcl ) for the MAX® 10 device. When compiling your design, you might generate an error such as "<signal name> has unknown type clkout," and the altera_int_osc_hw.tcl might declare invalid parameters. Resolution You must use the clkout pin as the conduit interface in Qsys. This issue will be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
