Does Arria 10 SoC development come with a license for Quartus Standard edition? If so, how do I get it? - Does Arria 10 SoC development come with a license for Quartus Standard edition? If so, how do I get it?
I've been shunted around Intel for the past few days and told to post here. My university purchased an Arria 10 SoC dev Kit from Mouser (as indicated by Intel's reseller list and our university's AVL). We have no indication that a Quartus License has been set up nor any documentation to activate the software. However all the material that describes the Dev Kit indicates it should come with one license.

Hi Todd, Sorry for the inconvenience that caused you not able to access to the Altera website. Kindly check the below link to activate your Quartus License. https://fpgasupport.intel.com/Licensing/license/index.html Kindly, try using the same username and password to log in 'Self Service Licensing Center'. Then, follow the steps in the link below that I provided earlier. - Page 11 (Activating Your License) https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug-a10-soc-devkit.pdf Thank you.

Thank you for confirming that the Kit DOES include a one year license. I reviewed the licensing procedure before posting. However ... 1) Altera site does not exist. 2) What Altera Account? 3) The self licensing site has nothing for my user login (not surprising since there is no link between the kit and myself).. Essentially I'm asking for some assistance in getting the information needed to begin the licensing process.

Hi Todd, Yes, purchasing 'Arria 10 SoC DKE' entitles you one-year license of the Quartus Prime software. Kindly refer 'Arria 10 SoC Development Kit User Guide' link below on how to activate your Quartus License- Page 11 (Activating Your License) https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug-a10-soc-devkit.pdf Thank you. - 2018-11-15
