Why is the RS-FEC negotiated bit not getting cleared for F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) and Dynamic Reconfiguration enabled Multi-rate designs? - Why is the RS-FEC negotiated bit not getting cleared for F-tile Ethernet Hard IP with Auto-Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) and Dynamic Reconfiguration enabled Multi-rate designs? Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1.1, you may see that the rs_fec_int_negotiated bit is not getting cleared (sticky) for AN/LT dynamic reconfiguration multi-rate designs. This failure is seen when switching from RS-FEC profiles to no-FEC profiles. Resolution For a workaround, perform an ANLT CSR reset, which will clear the rs_fec_int_negotiated status bit. This problem will be fixed in the future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
