Hi, I'm looking for a windows verilog simulator for learning purpose that is free of a license. This ModelSim edition [ https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-kit/750368/modelsim-intel-fpgas-standard-edition-software-version-18-1.html ] was found by google and it seems that no license is required to start the simulation. Hi SDunc1, If I understand correctly, the constraints put on the starter version include: The simulation speed is very slow. There is upperbound on the number of instances. Hi, there's no free license for ModelSim Intel Standard Edition, free Intel Starter Edition is however included with the download and can be selected during installation.
