VCS/VCSMX May Crash When Compiling Designs With EMIF Simulation Models - VCS/VCSMX May Crash When Compiling Designs With EMIF Simulation Models
Description This problem affects all device families and protocols. VCS/VCSMX version G-2012.09-3 may sometimes crash with a segmentation fault when compiling designs containing external memory interface simulation models. Resolution The workaround for this issue is to use VCS/VCSMX version 2011.12-SP1, or to add the following argument to the VCS command line: warn=noTFIPC This issue will be fixed in a future release.
