How to Configure File Attachment Settings in Community - How to Configure File Attachment Settings in Community File attachment settings specify the allowable file types and size limits for uploads throughout the community. While these settings apply globally to all content types, they can also be configured separately for each board. To configure the file attachment settings, including permitted file extensions for attachments, maximum attachment file size and maximum number of attachments per post, navigate to Admin Settings > Features > Content Features . You can also access these settings via Admin Settings > Shortcuts > Content Features. Scroll down to File Attachments or select File Attachments in the left rail. In the file attachments box, select Edit to configure the following settings: File extensions for attachments: Enter the file extensions to be permitted in the community. Separate file types with a comma. Default values are .png, .jpg and .gif. Maximum attachment file size for upload (MB): Enter a number to indicate the maximum file size members of the community can upload. The maximum file attachment size allowed is 75MB. Permitting larger files can be requested via support case to IgniteTech. Maximum number of attachments per post: Enter a number to indicate the maximum number of attachments members of the community can upload.
