In most cases, migrating an existing Altera® Quartus II or Altera® Quartus Prime Standard Edition project to the Pro Edition is as simple as opening the older project in the new software. However, there are a number of things you may need to check to make sure the migration goes smoothly. This training discusses project assignments, Tcl scripts, and other items that may need updating, including regenerating IP cores and replacing Logic Lock floorplan assignments with new syntax for Logic Lock regions.
