Nios® V Processors Overview - 15 Minutes This online training provides a an overview of the Nios® V processors, comparison between the existing Nios V portfolio, its capabilities and architectures. As Altera®'s next generation soft core processor based on the open-source RISC-V, Nios V processors provide different applications for custom instruction and microcontroller embedded design. Nios V processors are designed for Altera® FPGA devices with support in the Quartus® Prime Software and Ashling RiscFree IDE for Altera® FPGAs. Course Objectives At course completion, you will be able to: Understand the architecture and applications for Nios V Processors and its different applications. Compare the functional units for each Nios V processor variants for the different applications of the IP. Skills Required Skills Required Knowledge on Altera’s soft-processor design flows.
