Description In the Quartus® II software version 12.1 and later, DDR3 UniPHY memory controllers will fail simulation with the Aldec simulator if the EMIF On-Chip Debug Toolkit is enabled in the Diagnostic tab of the DDR3 MegaWizard™ GUI. Resolution The workaround is to disable the EMIF On-Chip Debug Toolkit option in the Diagnostics tab of the MegaWizard. This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
