Why does the PCIe Hard IP core get stuck in DETECT.QUIET state with Quartus® II software version 13.0SP1? - Why does the PCIe Hard IP core get stuck in DETECT.QUIET state with Quartus® II software version 13.0SP1?
Description With Quartus® II software version 13.0SP1, the LTSSM for the PCIe® Hard IP for the Arria® V GZ and Stratix® V device family may occasionally get stuck in the DETECT.QUIET state (ltssmstate[4:0]= 5'b00000). In failing cases, the transceiver's parallel clock (PCLK) becomes nonresponsive (not toggling). Resolution To work around this issue, use Quartus® II software version 13.0. This issue is planned to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® II software.
