Description The Reverse Serial Loopback (RSL) feature does not work on Arria® V GX devices due to a bug in the Quartus® II Software versions 12.1sp1 and earlier. For RSL Pre-CDR, The Tx signal will be steady state. For RSL Post-CDR, The Tx signal will exhibit high jitter. Resolution This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
