Each instance in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer is limited to 2048 signals and exceeding this limit triggers this error. Resolution To work around this problem, ensure there are less than 2048 signals in a single instance of the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer. Future versions of the Quartus II software are scheduled to generate a warning message when the signal limit is exceeded.
